New custom disc golf discs at Hyzer's

Lots of new things going on lately at Hyzer's in Grand Rapids, MI.

New Discraft custom hot stamped disc golf discs with custom Hyzer's hotstamped logo:

This disc was a custom dye job for Pig Farmer.

New Glass Pipes, Water Pipes and other Heady Glass!

Hello Grand Rapids, Michigan! Sorry for the limited updates: we're working on a new website for all of our disc golf and smoking items. Until then, we will share with you some new stuff that arrived recently! First up is a HONEYCOMB DIFFUSED water pipe.

These beauties come in either black or green/rasta style :D

Next up are some stemless, 8.5 inch multi-chambered mini scientific water pipes. The mini honeycomb sits directly underneath a mini 10-arm percolator tree! Step your diffusion game up at Hyzer's!

Disc Golf Tournament Was a Resounding Success

October 1st, 2011 brought over 70 disc golfers from the Grand Rapids region to Johnson Park. Two rounds of 18 were held with Jeff Lisieki and Paul Seitz taking home the top spot with a score of -15 .

With the help of Founders Brewing Company and Growco Indoor Garden Supply, the Johnson Park Doubles Benefit raised almost a thousand dollars which will go towards new tee pads at Johnson. Overall it was a great day for Grand Rapids Disc Golf

Johnson Park Doubles Benefit Tournament

Who: Disc golfers who support Johnson Park
What: Unsanctioned doubles tournament
Where: 2600 Wilson Avenue Walker, MI 49534
When: October 1st, 2011 - 10 AM
Why: What was once one of the best courses Grand Rapids had to offer, acts of selfishness ultimately reduced Johnson Park to its present neglected state. Proceeds for this tournament will contribute to restoring the course to the condition it truly deserves.

$40 Per Team ~ 36 Team Cap ~ 3 Divisions

Grand Opening - Hyzer's Pro Disc Golf and Smoke Shop

Great news for the Grand Rapids area disc golf scene: Hyzer's LLC officially opened on Tuesday, August 2nd, 2011 in Standale, right behind Boardwalk Subs. 


Opened and owned by former GVSU alumni, Hyzer's specializes in all things disc golf as well as all head shop related items - glass, herbs, detox, tapestries and local artisan work. 


Hyzer's sells both new and used discs and you can order your very own custom dyed disc, right here in the store. 


We also have an indoor disc golf Skill Shot set up so you can work on your short range putting game.


Right now we are working on a Johnson Park Benefit Dubs Tournament to be held October 1st.
